WHY USE Penco® Energy Drink?
The advantages of Penco® Energy Drink include, in addition to the optimal ratio of electrolytes (Na, K, Mg, Cl, Ca, P and others), an increased content of glucose polymers (maltodextrin) and a high content of the special carbohydrate isomaltulose.
The energy source is a mixture of 5 carbohydrates, these are both simple sugars (glucose, fructose and sucrose) and glucose polymers (maltodextrins) and a unique disaccharide isomaltulose (PALATINOSE TM) for gradual release of energy.
The sodium content of the Penco® Energy Drink formula has been increased and the glucose : fructose ratio has been optimized. The optimum ratio of 2 Glu : 1 Fru allows athletes to absorb much greater amounts of energy. The combination of different types of carbohydrates has been found to increase absorption and thus provide more available energy (90 g of carbohydrates /hour) for endurance sports performance. Glucose alone burns a maximum of 60 g of carbohydrate/hour, while fructose is able to provide extra energy to working muscles in the form of an additional 30 g of carbohydrate/hour.
WHO IS Penco® Energy Drink SUITABLE FOR?
Endurance athletes who use Penco® Energy Drink with isomaltulose before and during exercise are better able to tolerate intense physical exertion and are able to perform at their peak for longer.
Penco® Energy Drink is designed for all athletes, especially endurance athletes, whose sporting activity exceeds 1.5 hours. This is especially the case for longer cycling, triathlon, running training and races.
